About the Conference

The 2025 United Nations Global Initiative on Sustainable Development (UNGISD) Summit, convened under the auspices of the United Nations Commission for Sustainable Development and hosted by the British Columbia Council for Sustainable Development (BCCSD), will unite distinguished leaders, experts, and institutions from across the globe to advance collaborative action on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Summit’s central theme focuses on fostering resilient, inclusive, and sustainable transformation, with priority attention to critical global imperatives including poverty eradication, food security, climate action, peacebuilding, and strengthened global partnerships. Through high-level dialogue and strategic cooperation, the 2025 UNGISD Summit aims to reinforce international commitment to the shared vision of a sustainable and equitable future for all .
